Andy Price 

Andy is a comic illustrator, currently employed by IDW Publishing which are the creators of My little pony that Andy does the illustration for. 

Andy worked along with writer Katie Cook behind the issues 1-4 of My Little pony which is a popular TV program that I am a huge fan of. 

 

Andy has also worked for DC comics , innovation comics and Rittenhouse Archives. 

He has also has worked for the Comics quantum leap and WordGirl. 

 I mostly know Andy from My little Pony comic series and as I am a huge fan of the show , franchise and comics, I find the art work stunning this is a huge part why I like the show so much. 

As I was researching I did end up finding what else he has worked on which I always find fascinating when I like a artist work.

Katy Towell 

Katy Towell is a concept artists, illustrator and story writer. She works on short films about scary little girls. 

I have watched her animations for a while now and I find them so entertaining and I love her art style. 

The image below is one of her animations called The little girl who was forgotten by absolutely everyone. 

This short film is truly memorizing and deep with a dark twist.

The art style is amazing and creepy and very original. 

Katy made a series about the after life, main character is death and then there is Elsie.

 I want say much I don't want to spoil it!!!! 

I highly recommend these short films i think they are incredible and the art work is simple but amazing.

He is a American Illustrator he specializes in illustration and fine art.  

I like his style of work,the reason why i like it is because the darkness behind the work.

The images that I have collected above are a few images of the concept art for the making of tangled. 

I discovered many artists took part in to this and coming up with designs for the characters. 

I like to look at how people develop the brief to make characters, you can see different ideas artists have which I always find interesting to look at.

I could spend all day looking through concept books, I find them so interesting how people have different ideas and drawing techniques, I like to see the development of characters.

I love how different artists read the script or brief differently and get something different from the description.

I also like to look at story boards which I have shown up above. 

Tangled is a well known Disney film and I personally love the animation but what I love the most about is the art work and concept that went in to creating the film.

Ghost Town Album Artist Imamachinist

Ghost Town is a band, I love their music but I also love their cover art for their albums. 

The Artist behind the album covers is Alister Dippner also known as imamachinist. 

I have Liked this band for so long and have admired the Album art. 

I love this kind of Art, there is bright colours but still with a dark twist which is a mind twister which is why I am so drawn to Alister's art. 

I couldn't find much out about Alister but i did find his email. I originally found out about this artist through a you tuber I watched, Ledamosterbunny she is no longer on you tube but I believe if my memory has me right Ghost Town used Leda for inspiration and she helped promote their work.

Mark Crilley 

Mark Crilley is a artist I  have been watching and following on You Tube for a long time now.  He has helped me as artists develop my skills and teach me tricks and learning curves about drawing and being a artist in the big wide world. 

Mark Crilley has taught me the process of creating a comic , and how its done in the industry. 

I think its great watching his videos on you tube , from the first time he started out on you tube and to know you cane really see that he has developed as a artist and shows you that if you put the effort in you can do it. I think Mark is a great role model to the artist side of the world.  

Mark has created his own comic called Brody's Ghost which I find so inspirational. 

He is manly Based om You tube doing tutorials on how to draw characters and manga and even real life objects he draws a big range of styles.

Bioshock

Bioshock 

Bioshock is one of my favorite games for Xbox 360. I love the concept art for the game. 

Above there is a few images that are from the newer game Bioshock Infinite, the artists is Ben Lo. 

The art is truly memorizing and the art movement is very fluent which I like in art. 

Ben Lo has also done some fan art, hear is one of his piece which is a character  of ToToro which is a anime film from a company called Studio Ghibli. 

Tribe Nightguard is a character in Ben Lo Tribe World. He explains in his own blog what this characters role is in the game. 

I truly love his style of work and how the concept gets put together. 

He has a wide range of themes and characters he has designed and you can see that he can work in many different ways, I love how his work tells the story with needing words.
